Aren't you a bit too old? David Hasselhoff, 59, and Pierce Brosnan, 58, try to be hip as they join youngsters at Coachella festival

He is obviously a big fan of music after becoming a serial hitmaker in Germany.
But some will be wondering if David Hasselhoff is getting a tad old to be attending music festivals.
The 59-year-old looked in his element today with girlfriend Hayley Roberts as he sauntered around Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in a T-shirt with a peace symbol emblazoned on the front.
And he was in good company, as 58-year-old Bond star, Pierce Brosnan was also spotted at the event wearing a conservative ensemble that he attempted to spruce up with a leather jacket - but yet it looked more suited to a walk in the country than an indie music festival.
But with areas of California being hit with record rainfall music fans heading for are bracing themselves for the worst.
Attendees of the should be cheered therefore to learn weather experts are predicting a mostly dry weekend for the event.
However the outlook is not totally rosy, as they are also warning of blustery weather that could leave them chilled to the bone.
The area has only been hit with light showers today, with only a trace of rain threatened at the annual desert event that is attended by 75,000 people on each day of the event.
However a shock downpour could still result in the event being turned into a Glastonbury style mudbath.
Fans at the event seemed to be preparing to battle the elements, with those staying at the event being extra careful to make sure they pitched their tents correctly, especially as temperatures are to plunge as low as 16oC and highs in the low to mid 20s.
One fan was even spotted erecting a teepee, and hopefully made sure they tied their knots extra tight.
Identical line-ups are set to play for two consecutive weekends or the first time since it began in 1999, highlighting its growing popularity.
Headlining acts are Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg, Coldplay and The Black Keys.
However it is far from clear whether the experiment will be a success, as fans go to festivals for unique experiences.
One famous example is Pink Floyd's 2008 appearance, where one of their giant inflatable pigs escaped its tethers floated off into the desert, with the resulting prop hunt making headlines around the world.
The event is also knows for being a rite of passage for young bands hoping to make it big.
Established acts are also drawn to the festival, which takes place near Palm Springs, so they can capture the heart of a new generation of young music lovers, California.
Billboard.com editior Tye Comer said: 'Coachella has pushed boundaries in the past. It has redefined what festivals are about, and has a different character to other festivals around the world.
'There is a fear that it's going to be a bit tainted for people going the second weekend because they're getting a copy of the first weekend.'
One factor that seems certain to differentiate the two weekends is the weather.
Early forecasts show a chance of rain and cool winds during the first weekend, a change from the usually sunny desert weather.
But the festival needed to expand to handle the crowds, and tickets for both weekends are sold-out.
Coachella has grown from 25,000 attendees initially to 75,000 people a day over the three-day weekend.
