Thanks, Judy. I'm really curious to hear what Michael says.
There are 3 specific Irish locations I'm curious about:
"Steele Your Heart Away"
1.) Where was the quaint railroad crossing where R and L choked the 'policeman' in the 'police car' and escaped into the countryside? Was it near Anamoe or closer to Carton House?
2.) Where was the horse stable/barn Laura and Remington climbed into via the tall window when they ended up in the hayloft? I know the house used in that episode was Carton House. Was that barn near Carton House?
"Steeled with a Kiss"
1.) Where was the 'village' where R and Tony had their fistfight? Since Ashford's nearest town is Cong, that seems logical...but I didn't see anything there that looked like it. Was
it an actual village or merely a set somewhere? It looked the same village that was used in "Manions of America". I wonder if was Bunratty Folk Park or something similiar to that.
Interesting that MGM had a studio in Dublin. I know they shot interiors at Ardmore Studios, but had no idea MGM had its own studio.
Interesting trivia: I got an e-mail from a girl whose family lived in Anamoe House at the time of filming. (It was the house used for Patrick O'Rourke's wake in "St. Your Heart Away".) She said they only shot exteriors there. They're currently trying to sell the house.
Debra
>Debra, he said he'd get back to me on the remaining shots in Ireland for Steele Your Heart Away and Steeled With A Kiss. You already know most of the locations but something I didn't know, because he didn't mention it until today, was that MTM Productions also owned a small studio in Dublin and that's where most of the interiors for Steele Your Heart Away were shot
