The info was via the official twitter feed which I paraphrased - the sites haven't been updated yet but I posted them so I'd have a reference latter to check for more info or photos.

Here is an excerpt from a message my friend sent after PB's talk ...
I managed to get a seat in front row. Pierce's mother, May, passed by me and took a seat not too far. A couple minutes after that, Pierce himself showed up. It was an amazing experience to watch him and listen to him talk about his life, his acting, giving advice to students. I was mesmerised by his hands. This may sound stupid but I could not get over just how handsome he was in real life. On TV, people are expected to look beautiful and we may take it for granted. But he's the type of man that will make you stop and turn, superstar or not. His whole appearance was so young. He certainly didnt look his age.
The conversation went on for a good 45 minutes and at some point had reached the topic of Remington Steele. He sidetracked the subject a bit and talked a lot about Cassie. He did say that when he got the script he thought of it as "an old movie" and played it like that. He called it the "golden opportunity".
Other things I remember him talking about (that I hadn't known before):
- He wanted to call his production company "Dreamtime" after the Aboriginal Dreamtime, in memory of Cassie who was Australian. He was told to add another name to it and he picked his nickname "Irish". Irish Dreamtime (Very poetic I thought) gave him "ownership" of the business.
-As a young man he often felt the "shortcomings of his education biting at him" and he began to devour literature.
-His mother now lives in the house he bought with Cassie in England back then.
-The English boys at school nicknamed him spastic. He went home to tell his mother, not sure what the word actually meant.
- He had a crush on a girl, Angela Gossman and beat up a kid named Billie for her. (Angela, if you're reading this we'd love to hear the whole story!)
- He only took up fire eating because during the workshop all girls had to take their tops off. (Really?)
-He burned his mouth doing a fire eating stunt at the muppet show.
-He was late for his role in The Mirror crack'd with Elizabeth Taylor. He sat at the station and saw Cassie running towards him, calling out that the clocks had gone forward.
On theatre: "you have to love it to want it". He was offered a part in a play (which name I forgot) after the Musical on Tuesday and he said the script frightened him. He prefers the movies. "Better wardrobes"
On MamaMia: He has no intention of making another musical so "the world is safe!"
A question from the audience: (hope I get this right) "Some actors describe the process of method acting as trying to find the "holy grail" and if Pierce thought to have found his throughout his career. " Pierce's mouth dropped. (So funny) He answered: Yes. With a little bit of talent in his back pocket.
Pierce' advice to students (and those pretending to be): Have faith! Stay confident! Show up every day! Know your lines and proof yourself over and over again.

Ps as i understood your friend didn't have special invitation for this event. She simply came. No, she did NOT have a special invitation to the event. It was open to students at the university and members of the Theater there. I think she had to buy a membership for 3 Euros to get in. For people who were already members, the entrance fee was FREE. And it was first come, first served for seating. I still can't believe she got a front row seat!!
